Cyclone Nanauk in the Arabian Sea near Oman

The Arabian Sea in June over recent years seems to have waters warm enough (32c) for cyclones to form, just before the sea get churned up and cooled down by the monsoon.

In June 2007 we had Gonu, in June 2010 it was Phet and now we have Nanauk approaching Oman.

Nanauk and Phet formed at about the same period in the approach of the Monsoon; as the wind-sheer of the Monsoon increased Cyclone Phet broke up and was blown off its track towards Pakistan.
